Dr. Curt Coffman received his B.S. in agriculture from Kansas State University in 1990 and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Missouri in 1993.
Dr. Coffman worked as an Associate and Partner in small animal veterinary practice until 2000 when he joined Arizona Veterinary Dental Specialists to complete his training for board certification. He is a member of the Veterinary Dental Society (AVDS), a Fellow of the Academy of Veterinary Dentistry (AVD) and a Diplomate of the American Veterinary Dental College (AVDC).
Dr. Coffman served as President of the Academy of Veterinary Dentistry Board of Directors (2009-11), and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the American Veterinary Dental College. He is the author of multiple publications and enjoys presenting continuing education lectures for veterinarians and technicians on the subject of veterinary dentistry.
Dr. Coffman is a Managing Partner with Arizona Veterinary Dental Specialists, providing comprehensive dental and oral surgical care for companion animals.
Dr. Coffman was recently named Veterinarian of the Year by Arizona Veterinary Medical Association. This award is presented to an AzVMA veterinarian who has generously contributed time and energy to the advancement of the AzVMA, the veterinary profession and the community for at least twenty-five years. Factors to be considered are professional success, service to the profession, community participation, professional knowledge and exemplary citizenship.
